Farm La Fornace is located near the small village of Ghivizzano, north of Lucca in the area of Garfagnana. The three guesthouses on offer have been completely restored and are surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and orchards, and offer panoramic views from 300 metres above sea level. The guesthouses are a part of a farm that produces wine and olive oil and keeps some farm animals. The large estate has been equipped with umbrellas, deck chairs, barbecue, outdoor areas and shared swimming pool for guests. A large farm building has been divided into 2 apartments with Tuscan decor, while the Frutteto and Olivo are separate houses with independent entrance and private garden. Mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding are all possible. The thermal spa town of Bagni di Lucca (6 km), Barga (about 10 km), Lucca (31 km) and the beaches of Versilia (55 km) are all within easy reach. Swimming towels are available for an extra fee. The manor house has been renovated. On a hill in the countryside immersed in greenery, the grounds not used for cultivation and swimming pool (11 x 5 m, depth 140 cm, 01.06.-14.09.) are for communal use. Garden furniture, barbecue, parking on the grounds.
