Museum of Plaster Figurines & Emigration

The museum, dedicated to "Guglielmo Lera" and housed in the Palazzo Vanni, documents the history and manufacturing activity of the plaster "figurines" of Coreglia, an ancient art mainly exported to Europe and the United States.
The exhibition brings together about 1,300 pieces of plaster with sacred and profane significance of various types - realised between the eighteenth and twentieth century - and the instruments used to produce them.
